Bring history to life in your hands. A one-off opportunity to explore and handle our collection of arms, armour, coins, pamphlets and other artefacts from the British Civil Wars.
At the National Civil War Centre, we have a rare collection of intriguing artefacts from the British Civil Wars. Come to meet an expert, who will show you some of their favourite objects. Hold a sword once used in battle, and examine propaganda from both sides of the war. This is an exciting opportunity to handle real seventeenth century objects and discuss their importance in the story of our nation.
