Organised by the Newark Town Council, the Santa Dash will be held in aid of Beaumond House Community Hospice and the Children’s Bereavement Centre as part of the Newark Christmas Market.

Teams are made up of 1 to 3 people fast walking over a 70 meter course carrying 1,2 and then 3 present parcels.

If there is more than 1 in a team, the parcels are passed to other team members at the end of each of the 3 stages. And you don’t even have to be Usain Bolt to enter as it’s a fast walk that’s required with a trophy for the winning team.

Entry is a minimum of £50 paid as an entry fee or raised through sponsorship and you can enter as a company, a family (children can take part) or as a group of friends.
