Travelling to Newark
Newark is ideally situated, only an hour from two busy Airports – Robin Hood and East Midlands, 80 minutes from London by train and on the A1 and the A46. There are many buses travelling to Newark from surrounding towns and villages and we have ample parking.
You may even decide to travel by river; we have several Marinas in Newark and why not stop off at a pub or two on the way!
There are two train stations in Newark. Newark Northgate station has the Kings Cross line running through it. Newark Castle station mainly runs commuters to Lincoln and Nottingham. Both of these train services are very beneficial to commuters.
There are several bus services that operate in Newark. These are: Stagecoach, Travelwright Trainline and National Express
Travelling from the London airports (Heathrow or Gatwick) by car, head for the London orbital motorway, the M25.
Go clockwise round the motorway until you reach the A1. Newark is off the A1, about 120 miles north. There are four exits to Newark from the A1, although (listed from the south) only the first, third and fourth mention the town’s name.

Up the A1 from Newark and 15 minutes off the A1 is the centrally located Robin Hood Airport.

Is situated in the heart of the Midlands on the River Trent. Serviced by excellent road, rail, and air networks.
